CIAC takes the lead of the Motorsport.cat project in Catalonia

The Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia (CIAC) has taken the lead of the Motorsport.cat project with the aim of "developing an economic sector that is strong in other countries, and which in Catalonia has a great potential and a long way to go", according to Toni Garcia, member of the CIAC Board and coordinator of the Motorsport.cat project.

In this way, after the forced stop caused by the pandemic, the Automotive Cluster has set itself the goal of energizing the project in order to enter a new phase. "We have inherited the projects that were being developed and we are already embarking on new ones which will be announced when the time comes." Toni Garcia has also remarked "the capacity of work and involvement of all the organizations that are part of motorsport" and has expressed his conviction that "this economic sector can become a very important base of the economy and catapult Catalonia as a reference".

? Catalan Automobile Federation.
? Catalan Motorcycling Federation.
? General Secretariat of Sport and Physical Activity of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
? RACC.
? Barcelona-Catalonia Circuit.
